Casa Paco D’Ilhas is located high atop the elusive hill of the seaside village of Ericeria in Portugal, overlooking world renowned surf breaks to one side, and lush countryside to the other.

This is a yoga retreat, a growth opportunity,
a vacation adventure, and a cultural immersion
all in one.

Through yoga, wellness workshops, cultural adventures, healthy eats, and relationships forged,
we RENEW ourselves.
ABOUT PORTUGAL
The oldest and westernmost country in Europe, Portugal is bordered only by Spain to the north and east, and to the south and west its coastlines are bathed by the Atlantic Ocean. Portugal’s mild, sunny climate and sublime, dramatic beaches have given rise to communities built around vibrant marine ecosystems, ocean pursuit, and conservation. Portugal is a world leader in renewable energy, with over 70% of its energy coming from wind, hydro, solar, and of course, ocean wave power!

Portuguese food is Mediterranean cuisine at its best, and like the people, the food is warm, vibrant, fresh, spicy, and a little mysterious. The Portuguese have traditionally prized a simple and unostentatious life, favoring the rural over the urban, delighting in relaxed, communal gatherings in orchards and gardens, which in turn naturally lend to the country’s high-ranking values of peacefulness, moral freedom, and democracy. The arts and music are so highly valued that UNESCO stamped the soulful and lyrical ‘Fado’ music (meaning ‘Fate’) as its national music, and Afro-house will find you if you check out the thriving Portuguese nightlife!
Wine connoisseurs consider Portugal’s wines to match the grandeur of its many vineyards, donning rich reds, bright whites, and most famously – port, from the city of Porto, from which Portugal’s name is derived. In addition to beaches and vineyards, Portugal boasts great physical diversity of geography, from low lying coasts and plains, to mountains which rise to 6500 feet. And since Portugal is Europe’s oldest country, its architecture - royal palaces, castles, estates, villas and their gardens – exhibit deep heritage imprinted by cultures
from around the world.

We are staying at Casa Paco D’Ilhas, set in the middle of a world-class
surf zone with an exceptional variety of surf spots ranging from powerful reef breaks to mellow ones, catering to different levels and tastes of surfing (grab a wet suit and rent a board or take a surf lesson...they even offer kitesurfing!).

Casa Paco D’Ilhas merges traditional heritage style with all our desired modern amenities, so we can escape the hustle and bustle of modern day life and relax into a holistic leisure experience.

ROOMMATES | Upon registration confirmation, in the event that you do not have a traveling / retreat partner with whom you wish to share a room, you will be paired with another person of the same gender for shared room occupancy. The Casa guesthouses room two to five people each. Housing will be assigned on a first come (first registered) first served basis.
